The following is a list of instances where pagans received dreams from Yahweh God, arranged in the approximate chronological order of events in the Bible. The timing of biblical events may not always be precise, but they generally follow this sequence. This list was compiled by asking GLOCK.
Cases of Pagans Receiving Dreams or Warnings from God
-
Abimelech (Genesis 20:1-18) Period: Abraham’s time (around 2000 BCE,
patriarchal era)
Abimelech, king of Gerar, intended to take Abraham’s wife Sarah but was warned by God in a dream, “She is a man’s wife,” and thus returned Sarah (Genesis 20:3-7)
-
Laban (Genesis 31:24) Period: Jacob’s time (around 1900 BCE, late
patriarchal era)
Laban, Jacob’s father-in-law, while pursuing Jacob, was warned by God in a dream not to harm him. As a result, Laban made peace with Jacob (Genesis 31:29).
-
Balaam (Numbers 22-24) Period: Wilderness period after the Exodus (around
1400 BCE)
Balaam, a diviner hired by Moab’s king Balak to curse Israel, was intervened by God through dreams or visions (notably the miracle of the donkey). Balaam ended up blessing Israel (Numbers 23:7-10, etc.).
-
The Magi from the East (Matthew 2:1-12) Period: Birth of Jesus (around 6-4
BCE)
The Magi from the East, guided by a star to worship Jesus, were warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod and went back to their country by another route (Matthew 2:12).
-
Pilate’s Wife (Matthew 27:19) Period: Jesus’ trial (around 30 CE)
The wife of the Roman governor Pilate, considered a pagan (Roman), received a dream indicating Jesus’ innocence and warned her husband, “Have nothing to do with that just Man.”
On the other hand, God’s Law warns against heeding diviners, soothsayers, or mediums who prophesy through dreams, akin to modern psychics. The reality of such scientifically unexplained supernatural phenomena suggests the existence of spiritual forces, which should not be taken lightly. Nevertheless, even if it has been fulfilled up to now, if it misses the subsequent July of 2025, it will itself turn out to be a cheating false prophecy that has nothing to do with the God of the Bible for 2028. The Bible, which allude to the 6,000th year of mankind in 2028 and the Tatsukuryo, are two different entities, so even if the 2025 July Tsunami is off, it does not mean that the 2028 Second Coming will not come either.
Deuteronomy 13:1-3 (NKJV): “If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (NKJV): “There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.”
In Cases Reported and Widely Known by the Media
From this, it is clear that even pagans or diviners can receive warnings or dreams from God. However, it is said that Ryo Tatsuki has claimed to be the reincarnated daughter of Sai Baba. Such a statement seems like an irrational or false claim, which undermines the credibility of her dream-based prophecies.
Moreover, it has been widely reported in the media that “Taiwanese people, believing in Ryo Tatsuki’s baseless dream-based autobiographical manga, have refrained from visiting Japan, leading to the cancellation of flights.” This suggests a high likelihood that nothing will happen in July 2025. If so, a mindset of dismissing prophecies entirely, including the biblical proclamation of the Second Coming, may spread, with people concluding, “Prophecies never come true anyway.” On the other hand, if such an event does occur, people will begin seeking messages of hope, potentially increasing interest in the 2028 Second Coming theory.
Rather than debating whether Ryo Tatsuki’s dreams come from God or the devil, it would be wiser to prepare for all possible scenarios to maintain composure regardless of the outcome. Biblically, Satan, the devil, hinders the salvation of souls. Therefore, rather than orchestrating a scenario where a disaster prompts people to seek God, Satan might create conditions where wicked people will not experience those kinds of disaster or can survive a massive earthquake or tsunami, continuing their lives as usual.
Luke 17:26-30 (NKJV): “And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.”
2 Peter 3:3-7 (NKJV): “Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.’ For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”
We can read from the scriptures that the wicked people who speak big words of self-aggrandizement, jealousy, etc., clothed with evil spirits, will be living ordinary lives until the time of the Second Coming. In other words, the great tsunami of July 2025 may not come.
The Gospel does not condemn people for their daily lives, but rather, it clearly states that those who selfishly pursue the well-being of only their own and those around them, and who harbor an evil nature with no regard for others, will be the ones to perish. Marriage, eating, and drinking are natural human activities, and there is nothing wrong with them, but there will still be many who pursue only their own survival instincts and pleasures. Unfortunately, they will perish at the Second Coming.
On the other hand, God’s people are already enduring some form of tribulation. Conflicts and earthquakes are occurring worldwide, and righteous people, regardless of nationality, are living through great tribulation. Conversely, those who cannot recognize the current times as tribulation are likely the selfish “goats” destined for destruction.
