Paintings of Jesus Christ by Akiane Kramarik, known for her "innocent prodigy" aura, have been circulating widely. Her depiction of Jesus is that of a handsome Middle Eastern young man—not with overly rugged features, but with a refined, perfect aesthetic. Many female Christians around the world have developed a sort of romantic infatuation with this specific portrayal by Akiane.
Revelation 21:2 "I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband."
Some romantically inclined female Christians express a desire to be the "bride" of such a handsome Jesus. While the Bible does indeed describe Christians as the Bride, their claims often lack objective self-reflection. They boast of being the Bride and guaranteed salvation in the present stage—long before the fulfillment of Revelation's prophecies—ignoring other parables that warn of a tense situation where half of those claiming to be the Bride actually lose their salvation.
While many churches refer to themselves as the "Bride," they are required to show faithfulness even unto death. Simply being "raptured before the Tribulation" is not the ultimate goal.
Matthew 25:1 "At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7 Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ 9 ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. 11 Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ 12 But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ 13 Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour."
1 Corinthians 10:12 So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!
This describes the "left behind" bride losing her salvation. The doctrine of Dispensationalism—which suggests people are left behind in the Great Tribulation only to be given another chance to repent—is a false teaching. Until the seventh trumpet sounds, everyone must pass through the Great Tribulation to be refined; only those who are purified will survive.
Zechariah 13:8 "In the whole land,” declares the Lord, “two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it. 9 This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’”
According to the verse above, there is a nuance that two-thirds of so-called Christians will perish. In fact, it is implied that Christians (Israel) will become more uniquely wicked and turn into vessels for Satan than even unbelievers or pagans. True Christians are supposed to be kings anointed by God, vessels free of hypocrisy and sin, who endure the same suffering as Christ before being taken to heaven.
Akiane has created a wide variety of paintings, but some of her works are so bizarre they suggest she may be accessing a strange spiritual realm.
If you watch the video, you can see strange pyramids, the Eye of Horus, and what appears to be a Buddhist monk in hell within Akiane's work. She claims these visions were given to her by the "Spirit World"—in other words, the god she worships. She seems to believe she is worshiping the God of the Bible and communicating with Jesus.
She says the truth behind her vision of the pyramid is "too deep" for her to understand. She paints these based on bizarre visions of pyramids and hellish imagery, but one must wonder: from which realm is she receiving these visions? It is hard to believe that God would give Akiane such a New Age-style, eerie worldview—or a "hell" where people suffer eternally (biblically speaking, sinners do not live forever in hell).
1 Corinthians 10:21 "You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons."
Based on this scripture, it is impossible to hear both the voice of God and the voice of evil spirits. It is either the work of the Holy Spirit or the work of demons.
Inspirations from demons and the Holy Spirit do not mix. Many of Akiane’s works reek of New Age spiritualism or quantum occultism. This is clearly not from God. Despite painting eerie masks and entities that look like "Grey" aliens, Akiane claims she prayed for a day and was shown the true face of Jesus. Unfortunately, she was not inspired by the Spirit of God.Women may insist on knowing what Jesus looks like, but first, his physical appearance has no bearing on salvation. We must believe the words, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed," and keep in mind that even Satan masquerades as an angel of light.
Satan knows what Jesus looks like, so he might have shown that likeness to Akiane—or perhaps not. Regardless, there is no need to obsess over his outward appearance. The key to being recognized by Jesus is whether your daily life is motivated by a virtuous heart.
Romantics say things like, "I want to hug Jesus" or "I want him to carry me like a princess," but this is practically sexual harassment toward Christ. Immersing oneself in such delusions only attracts a "False Jesus" pretending to be the Savior. Those who believe in this are not the "Bride" (hanayome), but a "Demon Wife" (oniyome).
I once saw a post on Twitter by a Japanese woman living in America: "I’m done with men; now I’m purely in love with Jesus. I don’t know much about the Bible, but I recently learned about Flat Earth and I'm proud to be a Christian." It was a parade of lust, competitiveness, and self-display—bragging about home cooking like a professional chef—the very essence of a "Demon Wife." One cannot become a pure Christian who truly seeking Christ without stripping away this romanticized ego.
Mainstream Christianity often lacks a logical foundation rooted in the Bible, so it tends to attract men and women with personality or intellectual flaws. The men are often muscle-brained egoists, while the women are extreme romantics. They boast that the Church is the Bride, worthy of a painless Rapture, while teaching that sincere non-believers will be left behind to rot in hell—being "kept alive" for eternal torture despite not eating from the Tree of Life.
Churches that worship on Sundays (Solar worship) are a foul odor to God. The mainstream doctrine that all virtuous non-believers go to hell is biblically unprovable.
Regarding the "face" of Jesus—are we talking about the face of Jesus of Nazareth from the line of David, or his post-resurrection face as Michael the Archangel, which even his disciples didn't immediately recognize?
Modern Christianity is wrong about many fundamental teachings. Naturally, Akiane is likely inspired by the wrong spiritual realm. Rather than swooning over her paintings of Jesus, it is far wiser to study the Bible deeply to discern deceiving spirits.
Akiane Kramarik's Jesus is beautiful, but it may be a fake. She is channeling something from another world, which is why she paints non-existent quantum-style universes and babies in hell.
2 Corinthians 5:16 So as from now on we know no one according to flesh; and even if we have known Christ according to flesh, yet now we no longer know Him in that way.
Colossians 2:18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. 19 They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow.
I’ve focused on Akiane here, but ➡ people like Angelica also claim to have seen people being tortured by demons in hell. Yet, nowhere in the Bible does it say demons enjoy torturing humans in hell. Using such threats to bind people with fear and anxiety does not seem to be from God.
Those like Akiane and Angelica who say "Jesus led me to see hell" are usually vessels of deception. The Bible warns that many deceivers will appear in the end times, and a "Great Revival" led by pretenders will occur first.
According to scripture, the harvest of Christians is fifty-fifty, meaning about half may fall away as phonies (as in the parable of the ten virgins). Actually, with two-thirds potentially being cut off, the gate may be even narrower than we think.
